The university institution ITCR-L has the task of developing the clinical research IT infrastructure constantly.

The ITCR-L cooperates with the Institute of Medical computer science (IMI), supports the teaching in medical computer science and shares research topics.

The ITCR-L processed following research topics:
The development of a generic privacy and consent concept, the implementation of semantic data integration through the structured documentation using standards, the implementation of a metadata repository, validation of open source software for research data management, the development of minimum data sets and the establishment of Data Warehouse Solutions.
