The ITCR-L offers consulting for the implementation of project-specific requirements regarding data protection and access issues related to personal identifying information or data without identity reference.

The ITSC operates an OMICs cluster, which provides molecular biologists and medical system computer capacity for the analysis of genome, transcriptome or proteome. Purpose of ITCR-L is to integrate the results of these analyzes and thus to assign patients and samples.

For clinical researchers needing project-specific UKSH ITSG IT servcices, the ITCR-L provides support in identifying symbioses between research and patient care, as well as in the preparation of necessary data protection concepts, project and ethics applications. The ICB-L as a centralized biobank of the University of Lübeck and its members claim with complex needs continuous consulting and support services through the ITCR-L.

The ITCR-L offers, among other things, solutions for the creation of reports from the clinical research database, for the transfer of legacy data into the biobank management system, and for the return transfer of research results to the patient. The ITCR-L offers an integrated software solution for the creation of eCRFs (electronic Case Report Forms) and the documentation of studies.

Training for the above systems is offered regularly, for example for clinical researchers who want to use the biobank and study applications. Individual requirements can be considered in the training courses.
